Napkin Printing

The sun's out, and long, lazy picnics spring to mind!
How about designing and hand printing your very own napkins using the finest Belgian linen, made especially for this workshop.

This is a more in-depth class which is designed to teach you how to;
- Pin out fabric and prepare the print table.
- Expose screens with your designs.
- Discuss and select a colour palette from pre-mixed inks.
- Develop the skills to become a fine screen printer.

You will need to send us your design ideas a week before the class so that Aimée can prepare everything for you.

Refreshments will be provided, we will also have time for breaks to sit outside in the sun with a coffee.

Finally, you will have learnt about screen printing textiles, having had the experience of making in a working print studio, and you'll have your beautiful creations to take home with you.

Suitable for beginners as well as those with previous screen printing experience, this is a lovely way to spend a morning indulging in something creative and highly rewarding.

Esta es una clase más en profundidad, diseñada para enseñarte cómo fijar la tela y preparar la mesa de impresión, exponer pantallas con tus propios diseños, discutir y seleccionar una paleta de colores con tintas premezcladas, y desarrollar tus habilidades como serigrafista. Utilizaremos las mejores servilletas de lino belgas, que hemos confeccionado especialmente para este taller.

Necesitarás enviarnos tus ideas de diseño una semana antes de la clase para que todo esté preparado.

Se servirán refrescos y habrá tiempo para algunos descansos durante la clase.

Al final, aprenderás sobre serigrafía textil y habrás tenido la experiencia de crear en un estudio de impresión activo.
